Here's a bowl of kitty for this fine Sunday. He's so cute.
I had a weird week. While things are getting better at work, I had a minor health crisis that involves me going to a specialist next week. So, here's hoping it's a false alarm, because April 30th is our 24th wedding anniversary and I have a four day weekend with my honey to celebrate!
It is! But let's get back to the kittehs:
Doin' the nip. That would so be my Natasha. She could easily become a nip head if I let her.
But, here's a truth:
Funny. Love kitty in a box, because they seem to think it was made for them.
Me, on the other hand, I've threatened if my hubby dies before me...
This is me on most nights:
Man, once I get the bra off, I'm done. Nothing personal, though, OK?
This is very much both of my stripey twins. Our Late Great Sky Kitty loved chasing them too and I like to think he's saying, "Hi!" to us whenever one comes buzzing around.
Also, in my files, I have:
Because I've been collecting tons of things off Pinterest. Well, and finding pictures of my latest obsession, Ian Somerhalder. See what I mean:
He was on "Lost" and is now on "Vampire Diaries." Tasty and I'm in denial that he's young enough to be my son.
Finally:
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Everybody have a super week! If I'm late posting next weekend, you know I haven't forgotten you, I'm just off with my honey, OK?

Sunday Sundries--Variety Edition
While I'm getting used to the new "real life" job and still doing a little writing, I still need to get my @#$% together and get a little more organized and disciplined. My characters are crying to come out and be heard. I keep pretending it's all research, but I know I'm just fooling myself.
But, you reap the benefits of the fun sillies I've found, right? After all,
And this is too true:
Though this is also true:
I gave one of my characters that trait also. I gave another character this trait:
But, I have to acknowledge this:
One more, without being maudlin, then we'll go back to pretties and funnies:
Here's a little naughty, thanks Lisa Lockridge:
Isn't this a fun idea? Thanks, Mark Lipinski!
Now, a couple of my characters are painfully white and geeky:
Explains much, doesn't it?
Another character hates having her picture taken. Of course, I had to hook her up with a photographer.
And finally:
Have a super week, everybody!

Sunday Sundries--Late Night Edition
Just got off work--pulling 2nd shifts in The Real World. Life has been kind of weird lately, but I'm glad to have a job that pays pretty well and grateful when I can help people.
So, this is the one that has been shared the most on Pinterest:
Not very Christian on this Easter Sunday, but it made me laugh. Does that make me a bad person?
Here's another one that made me smile. There are several people I've dealt with recently who needed these classes:
While I've had many tests to my patience, I'm grateful it's still intact. This is my philosophy:
Make it dark chocolate, please. I find this becomes more of a truth as I go along:
Isn't this cute?
Here's hoping you all had a super Easter or Passover. These would still be tasty, even after this weekend. I love, love, love this:
Will send this on to my friends who crochet. Here's another cutie patootie:
This is in my folder of things that make me smile, because it's just too silly!
Whereas we should remember this a lot more. Breathe deeply and have a super week--working on my manuscript and trying to catch up on stuff around the house. Love to all!

Sunday Sundries--Belated Edition!
Guess who started her new schedule and works Sunday now? It's been decades since I've worked evenings and Sunday, so it's kind of thrown my life off. My husband works evenings during the week. One of our theories is the reason we've been married over twenty years is that we've been on different schedules. We're going to be fine, though. Will just take some adjustment.
Hard to believe we're coming up on Easter, isn't it? I thought these were so pretty:
Yes, I've started on Pininterest--yet another time consuming website. I'm seeing so many cool things, though for my characters.
Mom always made sure I had a bunny corsage for Easter. This was in front of the house I grew up in, the high school my dad, brothers and I attended.
My parents had a sense of humor. They saw this guy in a bunny suit on a visit to Evansville, IN, wanting a picture. As I mentioned last year, the guy muttered under his breath, "Would you like a salted nut log, little girl?"
Ick. Perv.
Back to Pininterest--how cool is this?
This new job is kicking my butt on some days--this is unfortunately what I'm feeling most of the time.
One of my characters is a huge baseball fan--and how cool are these?
And a Yankees fan, so this was definitely something he would have at a birthday party. And while we're talking about sweets:
Too cute kitty!
*snort!* I'll be working this Easter, but will think of all the family and church celebrations everyone will enjoy. Have a great week, everyone!

Sunday Sundries--Sicky Edition
Okay, next to Fall, Spring is the worst for me. I have a dark purple car, but it has a distinctly green cast to it now, from all the beautiful flowering trees in our area. On top of it all, I got another nasty round of strep, so I've been taking antibiotics AND steroids. Since my "real world" job involves me talking on the phone, it's been a challenge. The cats are frantic and my plans for getting a lot done at home this weekend went out the window. Oh well.
The good news is the gunk is "clearing up" and draining. The bad news is that if I try to lay down, I get choked and start a massive coughing spell. So, I'm up at 4:15 am and figured I might as well visit with you all, before I nap again on the loveseat in the living room.
By the way, I just signed up for Pinterest and will be uploading some pictures of my inspirations for my pages over the next few weeks.
Isn't that the truth. And cookies. Lots and lots of soft, chocolate chip with nuts cookies.
Not that we ever post embarrassing pictures of our kittehs on the Interwebs.
Sorry to say, this is sometimes true.
Silly fun. We're so easily amused some days.
This happens all the time. Just another way our lives have changed.
Remain calm. All is well.
While we should allow ourselves to make mistakes, perhaps this wasn't the best choice. White really isn't your color.
Helps the blood flow to the brain for the decision making process. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Finally, isn't this a great idea? I made sure my husband saw it and I think we may have two doors that we can do this to, the closet in the hallway and the door to the basement. We'd have to leave the backing out of the bottom shelf and not put anything on it, because the kitty litter is downstairs, but I think we could rock this.
So, everybody have a super week! I promise to take care of myself and check back with you all often. Take care!
